The Hands Across the Sea Committee's mission is to encourage and facilitate international exchange in the field of puppetry.
Primary goals include:
Promotion of UNIMA-USA members’ work abroad
Curation and Dissemination of preexisting resources such as
Travel grant opportunities
Calls for submissions to participate in international puppetry events
UNIMA’s Festival database
Creation and update management of the HAS section of UNIMA-USA’s website to include:
Links to resources
Member highlights
Facilitation of member inquiries, both national and international, regarding international travel, presenter and local puppetry connections
